We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong relationships with clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Client record and relationship management
- Achieve planned sales targets within assigned client accounts
- Client account development to drive new business opportunities across the verticals of clinical trials
- Preliminary business (e.g. patient enrollment, Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), HEOR and epidemiological studies, post-marketing studies)
- Drive client account procedure and development through vital and strategic account planning in partnership with the scientific research delivery groups
- Collaborate with sales teams, finance, and other internal support capabilities to drive and close business and achieve sales approval targets
- Proactively find and qualify valuable opportunities including defining solutions and prescribing pricing structures to meet critical objectives
- Act as the primary contact until project kick-off, then coordinate with relevant business areas to ensure successful execution
- Lead and assist in delivering the response to proposal cycle with the proposal team and deliver in a timely manner to clients
- Coordinate Bid Guard methodology, ensuring designated offering aligns with client goals
- Lead efforts to close a potential client for a clinical trial as part of the target sales targets
- Responsible for allocated client account and identify potential opportunities within existing clients to increase account penetration
- Provide a collaborative client-facing, critical thinking environment with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Systems with the vision of enhancing arenaflex clinical trials market leadership
- *Essential Capabilities**
- Scientific, sales, or marketing background with focus in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Demonstrated history of creating mid- and senior-level business contacts
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage and fully integrate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, and follow up to grow connections and business potential opportunities
- Strong understanding of Clinical Trials, Decentralized Trials, and RWE trends
- Proven insight in identifying and creating potential customers, making professional presentations handling the sales cycle through close, and managing agreement exchanges
- Understanding of sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs
- Experience collaborating with internal or external resources to develop procedures that meet office objectives within budget and established timelines
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
