About the Role

As a Field Service Technician at arenaflex, you'll serve as the critical link between our organization and our valued commercial customers. Your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair beverage dispensing equipment—including soda fountains, ice machines, and related refrigeration systems—at various client locations throughout the Tampa metropolitan area.

This position perfectly blends technical expertise with outstanding customer service skills. You'll not only be fixing equipment but also building lasting relationships with business owners, restaurant managers, and retail operators who depend on reliable beverage service for their success.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to:


  • Equipment Installation & Setup: Install new beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper calibration and setup according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance visits to keep equipment operating at peak performance, reducing unexpected breakdowns and extending equipment lifespan.

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues with soda fountain equipment and related devices, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.

  • Light Remanufacturing: Conduct minor refurbishment and component replacement tasks to restore equipment to optimal working condition.

  • Refrigeration Management: Ensure all refrigeration components are properly maintained, charged, and functioning correctly to preserve beverage quality and safety.

  • Equipment Relocation: Safely transport and reposition equipment as needed to perform services, including preventive maintenance, programming, and cosmetic appearances.

  • Customer Relationship Building: Maintain a positive, professional demeanor while delivering exceptional service that strengthens customer loyalty and satisfaction.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete service tickets, maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams.

  • Emergency Response: Provide flexible availability for weekend and holiday coverage as business needs require, ensuring our customers never experience prolonged service interruptions.
