About the Role

As a Data Quality Assurance Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our paid advertising content development operations. You will be responsible for establishing measurement and dashboard requirements, enhancing existing estimation frameworks and tools, and optimizing data solutions for budget and campaign forecasting. This is a contract position that offers valuable experience working with cutting-edge advertising technology and analytics platforms.

You'll collaborate closely with marketing campaign leaders, operations teams, and our central analytics group to build comprehensive data and metrics requirements. Your expertise will help shape how we measure success, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions that impact billions of users across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing campaign managers, operations teams, and our central analytics group to gather comprehensive data and metrics requirements. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on key performance indicators and reporting standards.
• Reporting & Analysis: Manage and enhance integrated reporting for internal marketing spend and performance. Conduct audits, improve data processes surrounding information flow, and ensure the highest level of data accuracy across all reporting dashboards and analytics tools.
• Process Optimization: Oversee in-house processes for marketing experimentation. Track and log ongoing studies and tests across arenaflex's advertising platforms. Build automation solutions to improve data accuracy and scalability, reducing manual effort while increasing reliability.
• SQL & Database Management: Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables. Work with various database systems including Oracle, Vertica, Hive, and MySQL to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Data Integrity: Partner with analytics and cross-functional partners to identify and correct data integrity and accuracy issues across our reporting systems, data infrastructure, and dashboards. Implement best practices for data validation and quality assurance.
• Distributed Systems: Build and operate distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets from multiple sources. Ensure robust and scalable data pipelines that can handle high-volume advertising performance data.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. An Associate's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent training may be considered for candidates with exceptional relevant experience.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and database management systems. Proficiency in at least one of the following: Oracle, Vertica, Hive, or MySQL. Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
• Data Engineering Skills: Demonstrated experience building and working with distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing. Understanding of big data technologies and cloud-based data warehousing solutions is highly valued.
• Collaborative Mindset: Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Self-Motivation: Self-starter with exceptional flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environments and navigate uncertain circumstances with confidence and professionalism.
• Independent Performance: Strong track record of working independently while consistently delivering high-quality results. History of taking ownership and stepping up to address challenges proactively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to create clear, compelling reports and visualizations that drive actionable insights for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital advertising or marketing technology platforms


• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis


• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI


• Understanding of advertising metrics, KPIs, and campaign optimization


• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data analysis


• Background in working with API integrations and data pipelines


• Certifications in Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, or similar platforms
