- *Job Description:**
The Data Designing team at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and datasets for our Media business. This role will involve working with various stakeholders, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers, to deliver high-quality data products that meet the needs of our business.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and datasets for our Media business
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality data products
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Create and maintain data sets, including tables, views, and stored procedures
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data quality and integrity
- Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and datasets
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- *Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong experience with Python and SQL, with a focus on Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Snowflake
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience with GitLab and source control management
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and data science technologies, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and business intelligence tools
