What You'll Do

As a Data Analyst in our Transportation Examination group, you'll play a vital role in supporting our transportation operations through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include:

• Data Analysis & Insights: Work with large, messy, unique datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions quickly. You'll help stakeholders navigate through billions of data points so they can take the best action promptly.


• ETL Development: Create ETLs or processes that pull information from various sources and consolidate it into unified tables for analysis and reporting.


• Data Visualization: Develop meaningful Tableau Dashboards to monitor and measure the impact of changes and address special business challenges. Your creative approach to visualization will help transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with teammates and cross-functional teams on a regular basis to establish credibility. Analyze partner needs and work collaboratively with them to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product teams on data accuracy, completion, and latency across various projects and systems.


• Automation & Efficiency: Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate activities created for reporting, including screenshots, statistics prioritization, and anomaly recognition.


• Knowledge Sharing: Document your processes and share your knowledge with your peers. Mentor your colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert in your domain.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Strong SQL Skills: Excellent ability to manipulate data from different tables while maintaining data integrity. You should be comfortable writing complex queries and understanding database structures.


• Creativity with Visualization: A foundation in Customer Experience to develop meaningful Tableau Dashboards that drive business value.


• Business Acumen: Familiarity with Business Operations and the ability to understand and root cause business issues. A Supply Chain background, preferably with transportation experience, is highly desirable.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experience would be a significant advantage:

• Advanced experience in SQL and Tableau


• Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations


• Experience with Python or other scripting languages


• Experience with data manipulation tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, R, or Tableau Prep

• Bachelor's Degree required


• Full-time position with 8-hour workdays


• Position based in Bentonville, USA with remote-friendly options available
