As a Customer Success Manager, Automotive, you'll be responsible for onboarding, driving adoption, and ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention across a portfolio of mid-sized automotive customers. You'll operate with high autonomy, acting as a trusted advisor to dealership stakeholders, from initial setup through renewal.   • Build trusted relationships with mid-market automotive customers and dealership decision-makers, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Drive onboarding, training, and strategic check-ins with a focus on practical outcomes and ROI, ensuring customers achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Support customers in leveraging AI-powered lead handling and marketing automation tools, helping them maximize their potential and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Act quickly and independently to resolve issues, bringing in internal resources as needed to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Monitor customer health and identify risks or upsell opportunities proactively, taking a proactive approach to customer success.
  • Coordinate success planning, business reviews, and renewal processes for assigned accounts, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers.
  • Contribute to the playbook for growing the Auto vertical, sharing trends and customer insights internally to drive business growth and innovation.
  • *Requirements**
  • 4–6+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or client-facing roles in automotive tech, with a proven track record of success.
  • Direct dealership experience or strong familiarity with retail dealership operations, with a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Experience with SaaS tools, automotive CRMs, or digital marketing platforms, with a strong technical foundation.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts independently and proactively solve customer challenges, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Tech-savvy with comfort navigating multiple tools (Salesforce, Looker, Google Workspace); familiarity with automotive CRMs is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, with a ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.
  • Ability to travel periodically based on customer and business needs, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • *Additional Information**
  • The base pay for this position ranges from $85,000 - $100,000 per year, plus 20% variable bonus for an expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $102,000 - $120,000 per year.
