  • *Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Nevada. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specialty medications.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating compassionate and genuine care for patients and customers
  • *Training and Schedule:**
  • Training duration: 4 weeks (PTO blackout time)
  • Training schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
  • Schedule post-training: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST
  • *Requirements:**
  • One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Preceding healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology

  • The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45
