As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medications. Your primary duties will include:

  • Coordinating and handling new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and renewing benefits
  • Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system
  • Collecting and processing copay sums, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with sales or clinical issues
  • Providing empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • *Required Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • A valid IL Pharmacy Technician License or the ability to obtain one
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone
  • One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency
