As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time, every time. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
  • Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
  • Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
  • Working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
  • Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
  • Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Standing/walking for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
