- *What You'll Do**
As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Completing daily tasks related to account processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers
- Coordinating return objects with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working member cases/assignments
- Following and preserving guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, financial ruin, and payoff exams
- Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests
- Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget switch information
- Communicating with the seller to process budget transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch laws
- Depositing check returns, studying member again exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and prison fees
- *What You'll Need for Success**
- *Minimum Qualifications**
- High school degree or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires
- *Skills, Licenses, and Certifications**
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) won through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
- Ability to work extremely good customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and feature as an essential part of a team
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and examine data
- Ability to efficiently prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
- Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within department
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
