- *Key Responsibilities:**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming borrower calls, chats, and making outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Counseling and informing borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility
- Taking loan payments and updating borrower accounts in an efficient manner
- Locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers are put on hold
- Maintaining the security and privacy of borrowers to protect both the borrower and our partners
- Working an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks
- Utilizing strong computer skills to navigate our systems and tools
- *Essential Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or bachelor's degree preferred
- The ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment
- A Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check
- Residency in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area
- Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multitask (type while talking)
- Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord
- A quiet and distraction-free location in your home

- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with federal student loan programs and regulations
