As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that borrowers receive the support they need to succeed.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to incoming borrower calls, chats, and making outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner
  • Counseling and informing borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility
  • Taking loan payments and updating borrower accounts in an efficient manner
  • Locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers are put on hold
  • Maintaining the security and privacy of borrowers to protect both the borrower and our partners
  • Working an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks
  • Utilizing strong computer skills to navigate our systems and tools
  • *Essential Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or bachelor's degree preferred
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment
  • A Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check
  • Residency in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multitask (type while talking)
  • Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord
  • A quiet and distraction-free location in your home

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Familiarity with federal student loan programs and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
