As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling external customer inquiries, complaints, and shipment tracking requests via phone and email communication. You'll work closely with our team to resolve issues efficiently, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service.   • *Core Duties & Responsibilities**
  • Answer incoming customer calls and provide detailed information in a timely and professional manner
  • Notify customers daily of freight availability, ensuring timely updates and clear communication
  • Perform data entry for domestic and international bills, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a driver sign-in log, cash log file, and other essential records in accordance with operations procedures and policy manual
  • Perform daily audits on all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Arrive inbound manifest and close out outbound manifest in the AS400 system
  • Consistently monitor email requests and provide detailed information in a timely fashion
  • Regular and dependable attendance is essential for this role
  • Prepare in-bond documentation (Smaller stations only)
  • Acceptance of "containers" and proper documentation (Smaller stations only)
  • Maintain office cleanliness, including vacuuming and emptying trash (Smaller stations only)
  • Process dock receipt for export bookings and maintain spreadsheet (Smaller stations only)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Demonstrated ability to carry out assignments to their completion and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers

  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to handle heavy workloads and work well under pressure
  • Understanding of industry documents, including bills of lading, master air way bills, and TSA forms
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to pass basic hazardous materials training

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus
  • Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Computer skills, including MS Office/Excel, AS400 functions, and other relevant software
