  • *Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging in conversations with customers via email and outbound telephone communication to establish rapport and understand their financial situations and goals.
  • Gathering information from customers and providing information to loan officers to facilitate the loan origination process.
  • Educating customers and loan officers about next steps for a customer's file, setting realistic expectations to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Inputting data into our computer system as it relates to information gathered for the mortgage loan.
  • Disposing of customer files appropriately, depending on the interest and ability of customers to proceed with being connected with a Loan Officer.
  • Other duties may be assigned to support the team and meet the needs of the organization.
  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service, call center, or sales experience, with a passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers via email and telephone.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • *Desired Education/Experience**

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1 or more years of office or inside customer service/call center experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience working in the mortgage or real estate industry.
  • 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • *Work Authorization**

You must be able to verify your identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • *Physical Demands**

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Lifting up to ten pounds.
  • Working in an office setting, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting.
  • Operating office equipment, including use of a keyboard.
