- *Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilizing advanced technology, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI Communications, and other software applications to efficiently manage customer interactions
- Developing a deep understanding of our clients' needs and preferences, anticipating their requirements, and proactively addressing their concerns
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence
- Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to customers
- *Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the logistics and transportation industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong typing skills, with a minimum of 80-95 WPM accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI Communications, and other software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will be beneficial:
- Experience with SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, Aljex Software, or other top brokerage software
- Prior experience with EDI codes, tenders, protocols, and error troubleshooting
- IT-related experience, including network administration, database management, or software development
- Multilingualism, with proficiency in multiple languages
