- *Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service/Ground Operations Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, including scheduled or charter services
- Processing tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seats
- Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
- Marshaling in the planes and pushing back the aircraft
- Handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, re-accommodating customers, and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate
- Assisting customers with special needs, such as customers who require assistance in boarding, loading and unloading baggage, and co-mailing of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and applicable airport baggage areas
- Operating heavy, motorized machinery/equipment, including tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, push-back tractors, deicers, etc.
- Enforcing safety/security measures and monitoring safety-sensitive zones to ensure FAA compliance
- Ensuring arenaflex and airport regulations are followed
- Performing other duties as assigned
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
- Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum one (1) year customer service experience or equivalent in related training and/or experience; airline industry preferred
- Valid/unexpired driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers

- Basic computer skills; knowledge of general office equipment
- People-oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Well-groomed and adherence to dress code policy
- Ability to attend required training
- TRAINEE STATUS: Upon offer of employment, you will remain in trainee status until successful completion of all practical and written curriculum
