As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through proactive communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services

  • Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
  • Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash registers, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
  • Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
  • Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
  • Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
  • Completing resets and revisions as directed
  • Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products
  • Assuming web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store)
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
  • Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in customer service or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in using technology, including computers, smartphones, and other digital tools
