As a Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Providing information on in-force products to Agents, Policyholders, and Employees
  • Communicating contract language in terms that callers will understand
  • Resolving a wide variety of problems with customers
  • Providing clear and concise information on problems
  • Maintaining a log of incoming calls from customers and field personnel
  • Following through to ensure that problems and requests are handled satisfactorily
  • Following up on telephone inquiries
  • Communicating with Policyholders and Agents on policy changes
  • Completing specific projects relating to policies
  • Assisting other departments in handling customer service problems
  • Understanding the process for address and correspondent changes
  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a high-volume service environment
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent; Relevant Associates Degree highly preferred
  • Must have knowledge of Group Administration, Individual Administration, and be familiar with basic claim processing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle customer complaints and problems in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ability to work remotely near Philadelphia, with occasional on-site work required
