- Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals and families in gaining access to healthcare services, providing guidance and support throughout the process
- Review and determine eligibility and enrollment for assigned workload, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Provide high-quality customer service and support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain confidentiality of personal health information, adhering to strict privacy and security protocols
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare services and operations
- Minimum of one year of eligibility experience preferred, with knowledge of FL Medicaid programs and other government-funded healthcare initiatives
- Associate's degree preferred, with a focus on healthcare administration, customer service, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
- Strong PC proficiency, with a willingness to learn new applications and technologies
- Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole) strongly preferred, with the ability to communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking customers
