  • *Role Overview**

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing advocate care to our members, helping them navigate their benefits, and ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve their best health. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday, 11:45AM-8:15PM EST, and you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Guide members through their benefits, Aetna policy, and procedures, and provide education on online resources.
  • Create an emotional connection with members by understanding and engaging with them to champion their best health.
  • Take accountability to fully understand members' needs by building trusting and caring relationships.
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive support.
  • Review member claim history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductible.
  • Perform financial data maintenance as necessary.
  • Explain members' rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract.
  • *Required Qualifications**
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a call center atmosphere.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Previous behavioral health experience.
  • Medical or insurance background.
  • Associate's degree.
  • *Skills and Competencies**
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with members.
  • Knowledge of healthcare benefits and regulations.
