- Job Description:
- Conduct biological field surveys and construction monitoring in AZ, CA, NV, and NM
- Compile available research data and evaluate applicability to specific project sites
- Vegetation mapping and habitat characterization
- General habitat assessments and surveys for plant and wildlife species
- Work as a member of our team in the preparation of technical reports and studies including biological constraints analyses, wetland delineation reports, and biological resources technical reports
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, botany, or related natural resources field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in performing biological surveys, or a willingness to learn
- Background and/or coursework in biological field methods or biological science
- Ability to hike in harsh desert conditions for many days at a time
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment
- Wildlife survey experience in CA, NV, AZ, and/or NM preferred
- Must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team.
