    Job Description:
  • Conduct biological field surveys and construction monitoring in AZ, CA, NV, and NM
  • Compile available research data and evaluate applicability to specific project sites
  • Vegetation mapping and habitat characterization
  • General habitat assessments and surveys for plant and wildlife species
  • Work as a member of our team in the preparation of technical reports and studies including biological constraints analyses, wetland delineation reports, and biological resources technical reports
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, botany, or related natural resources field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in performing biological surveys, or a willingness to learn
  • Background and/or coursework in biological field methods or biological science
  • Ability to hike in harsh desert conditions for many days at a time
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment
  • Wildlife survey experience in CA, NV, AZ, and/or NM preferred
  • Must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team.
