Zus is a shared health data platform designed to accelerate healthcare data interoperability by providing easy-to-use patient data via API, embedded components, and direct EHR integrations. Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Bush, co-founder and former CEO of athenahealth, Zus partners with HIEs and other data networks to aggregate patient clinical history and then translates that history into user-friendly information at the point of care. This is a role with a base salary and variable component.
While we're a remote first company, this person will need to collaborate face to face with colleagues, prospects and customers. That could be a few times a month depending on what the business needs.
Build and own the marketDevelop pipeline from scratch through outbound, networks, and creative GTMShape territory strategy and refine ICP as the market evolvesIdentify and win high-value accounts across:
Tech-enabled provider groupsMSOs, specialty networks, and ancillary servicesRisk-bearing providers and health plans
Sell the Aggregated Profile (ZAP) as core infrastructure
Help customers re-architect workflows around unified data, not fragmented systemsPosition ZAP as the data foundation for:
Care coordination and longitudinal patient recordsRisk adjustment, population health, and VBC workflowsClinical + operational automation
Lead deeply technical sales cycles
Run discovery across clinical, product, and engineering teamsMap customer data flows, architectures, and integration needsDeliver demos of APIs, data products, and platform capabilitiesGuide technical validation, pilots, and proof-of-conceptsTranslate business problems into concrete implementation approachesOperate like a startup executiveMove deals forward with urgency and creativityDirectly contribute to the success and growth of Zus and interface with our advisors and investorsNavigate ambiguity and unblock internal/external stakeholdersPartner closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, and GTMBring real customer insight back into product and positioning
What we're looking for:
