Engineering Designer, Structural

They are seeking a full-time Engineering Designer to join their Structural team, focusing on drafting structural plans, managing BIM models, and conducting condition assessments for various civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft structural plans, create and manage BIM models, and details for structural construction drawings
• Measure, assess and sketch structural layout and details for new and existing buildings, bridges, tanks and tunnels
• Prepare detailed design calculations and planning reports
• Carry out Condition Assessments and structural visual surveys
• Project coordination
• Inspection and Contract Administration of heavy civils projects
• Other tasks as assigned and appropriate for this position

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 0-14 years of relevant experience
• A focus or interest in the design of heavy civil structures
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, Robot, SAP2000, Phase 2, and other industry related software
• Excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate proficiently, both verbally and in writing
• Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
