Engineer I

The Engineer I – System Architect position supports the design and implementation of control systems for the nuclear power industry, requiring collaboration across multiple disciplines and offering potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and administration of DCS systems and test equipment. This includes preparing systems for testing and customer release
• Provide technical support to internal teams and interface with external vendors as necessary
• Provide technical support to external customers with support contract
• Install software and patches at customer sites in accordance with field change packages
• Provide site support during commissioning and startup distributed control systems and related support equipment
• Develop standard control system architectures including traditional and hyperconverged architectures using both VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V technologies

Skills

• Degree in Computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with common PLC, SCADA, or DCS platforms
• Experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vSan) and Hyper-V (including S2D)
• Experience with Cisco network switches and routers
• Experience in industrial environments or with industrial control systems is a plus
