About the Role



We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Email Marketing Developer/Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in coding, testing, and deploying email campaigns across enterprise-level platforms. You will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to deliver high-performing, responsive, and optimized email campaigns.

Your role will be critical in ensuring quality execution, performance optimization, and adherence to industry best practices in email marketing.

Key Responsibilities



  • Email Coding & Development


    • Develop responsive email templates using HTML and CSS based on design files.

    • Ensure compatibility across multiple devices, browsers, and email clients.


  • Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting


    • Perform QA using tools like Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar platforms.

    • Identify and resolve rendering, formatting, and deliverability issues.


  • Campaign Deployment


    • Execute and deploy email campaigns across various ESPs.

    • Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.


  • Link Tracking & Analytics


    • Implement tracking codes and URLs for campaign performance monitoring.

    • Ensure accuracy in reporting and data tracking.


  • Collaboration with Marketing Teams


    • Work closely with marketing and design teams to understand campaign requirements.

    • Suggest improvements for optimization and campaign effectiveness.


  • Best Practices & Compliance  


    • Ensure all campaigns follow industry standards for deliverability, accessibility, and engagement.

    • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in email marketing.


Required Skills & Qualifications



  • Experience


    • Minimum 5+ years of overall experience

    • At least 3–5 years in email marketing campaign development


  • Technical Skills


    • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL

    • Experience with email scripting languages such as AMPscript or Jinja

    • Expertise in responsive email design and hand-coding


  • Tools & Platforms


    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Klaviyo, Braze, Attentive, or other ESPs


  • Project & Stakeholder Management


    • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

    • Strong collaboration and communication skills


  • Domain Knowledge


    • Deep understanding of email deliverability, rendering, and performance optimization

    • Familiarity with email marketing best practices and industry trends


  • Organizational Skills


    • Strong time management and prioritization skills

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
