In this role, you will:<ul style="padding-left: 2rem; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><li>Oversee program sponsors, approve applications, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements</li><li>Lead training sessions, workshops and provide in-person technical assistance to program staff and sponsors</li><li>Address audit findings and resolve administrative issues</li><li>Conduct on-site program reviews, trainings, and follow-ups to ensure compliance</li><li>Develop policies, analyze program impacts, and recommend changes</li><li>Manage special projects and represent the Department at conferences and trainings</li></ul> <div style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;">Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment. The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office. Work Schedule: Work hours are Monday - Friday. Work hours will be determined. Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. **Note regarding the advertised pay range: The Education Consultant series has a special entrance rate (SER) of $27.07 hourly, $2,165.60 biweekly that is above the minimum hire rate for these positions. The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
