EDI AS400 Gentran Developer / Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced EDI AS400 Gentran Developer/Analyst with strong expertise in EDI mapping, trading partner integration, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IBM iSeries (AS400) environments and deep understanding of B2B EDI processes and standards.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in EDI development and support

Strong hands-on experience with:

Gentran iSeries (AS400) or similar EDI applications

EDI transactions: 850, 855, 856, 810

Solid knowledge of:

EDI mapping development & implementation

ANSI X12 standards

VAN connectivity and interconnects

Experience with:

AS400 job scheduler

Data monitoring and failure handling

Familiarity with ERP systems integration

Basic knowledge of SQL queries in AS400

Strong understanding of B2B EDI workflows and data exchange

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with third-party VAN providers

Exposure to multiple EDI platforms or tools

Ability to provide best practice recommendations for EDI processes

Strong stakeholder communication skills

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple integrations and priorities

Nice to Have

Experience in multi-region B2B integrations (LATAM, North America)

Knowledge of additional EDI standards or protocols
