Documentation Engineer with Security Clearance

The Documentation Engineer will manage contract data requirements and ensure on-time deliveries while collaborating with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Subcontract Data Requirement List (SDRL) management, including delivery forecasts, status accounting/tracking, and performing on-time deliveries to the customer
  • Have a strong ability to multi-task, supporting several varying assignment/programs, and have excellent communication skills to be able to collaborate successfully across engineering organizations, management, customers, etc
  • Be able to be flexible in the face of challenges and able to adapt to change

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and/or combination of education and experience demonstrating the required knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of Documentation Engineering / Data Management principles and practices or similar field
  • Knowledge of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Subcontract Data Requirement List (SDRL)
  • Engineering tools experience or similar (i.e.: Jira, Subversion, WindChill, SharePoint)
  • Experience in Microsoft (MS) Office tool suite (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level
  • Data Management (DM) or Configuration Management experience preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of DD Form 1423 and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
  • Solid interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • Preferred experience with Secure Information Exchange (SIE)
  • Preferred experience with Local Area Network (LAN) drive, SharePoint, Group owner and management
  • Preferred knowledge of SAE GEIA-859 Data Management and EIA-649C
  • Familiarity with application of associated operating industry standards: ISO 9001, AS9100, and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
