About the position
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Digital Records Archivist (Remote) to manage digital archives, maintain long-term records, and support compliance with document retention policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in digital records systems.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members effectively.
- Responsibilities
- Organize, catalog, and maintain digital archive records.
- Ensure accurate metadata and document classification.
- Provide internal teams with archival document access when needed.
- Assist in the preparation of archival reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with retention policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and document verification processes.
- Collaborate with records management, compliance, and IT teams.
- Ensure archival procedures align with company policies and industry standards.
- Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital records management or archiving.
- Proficiency in digital recordkeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in government contracting or defense-related archives.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
