The Fisher Scientific Channel is building a bridge between business and science as the single source for a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment, chemicals, instruments, life sciences reagents, and consumable supplies.

The position will be remote and can be located in any of the 18 countries where we operate in Europe but will require fluency in English and in Spanish. You will work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

The Digital Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across a large portfolio of low-revenue customers in the UK & Ireland. You will be part of a European sales team focused on scalable growth, piloting new approaches, and increasing eCommerce adoption.

What will be your day job?
Drive Customer Growth
Own and execute a territory growth strategy for a high-volume customer base
Identify, engage, and develop high-potential customers to increase revenue and retention
Balance revenue growth with a “digital-first” mindset, encouraging adoption of self-service channels

Proactive Customer Engagement
Connect with customers via phone, video calls, and LinkedIn to understand needs and uncover opportunities
Tailor outreach based on buying signals, customer personas, and campaign.
Educate customers on how to effectively use our website for research, ordering, and support

Portfolio & Pipeline Management
Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed sales targets
Prioritize accounts based on growth potential and cost-to-serve considerations
Ensure seamless handover of high-value opportunities to Inside or Field Sales teams

Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Digital Marketing to optimize targeting and campaign effectiveness
Provide customer insights to improve digital experience and remove friction points
Collaborate with eBusiness teams to enhance the online customer journey

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Test and scale new digital sales tactics (e.g., AI-email personalisation, outreach automation)
Share best practices and contribute to a high-performance, learning-focused team culture

Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field preferred
Experience engaging internal or external customers to understand and solve their problems
Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
Demonstrated resilience and persistence in achieving goals
Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with proactive outreach and handling rejection
Digitally savvy: able to leverage tools to drive impact
Adaptable and open to feedback in a fast-paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to test and learn
Fluent in English and in Spanish are a must
Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) preferred
Willingness to travel (~10%) for regional or international meetings
