The team focuses on CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code, and observability to ensure consistent and secure deployments across multiple environments. This role will work closely with a senior DevOps engineer on infrastructure optimization for performance and cost, while also partnering with cross-functional teams like cloud engineering, data engineering, firmware, and clinical application development. Your role will require an AI-native mindset — leveraging modern AI tooling to accelerate development workflows and bring automation-first thinking to everything you build. Your contributions will have a major impact in BioIntelliSense’s mission to improve patient care around the world.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python, .NET/C#, and Flutter (Android/iOS) projects using Bitbucket Pipelines and CircleCI
Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for AWS-native applications
Improve monitoring, alerting, and services reliability using Datadog
Partner with a senior DevOps engineer on ongoing infrastructure optimization for performance, cost, and business continuity plans.
Support Databricks asset bundle (DABs) deployments and contribute to data platform reliability
Bring an AI-native mindset to DevOps workflows, leveraging AI tooling to enhance automation, code quality, and operational efficiency

The Sr. Embedded Algorithm Engineer will prototype and implement algorithms on BioIntelliSense’s devices, in order to extract core vital signs. Having high quality data at this stage is essential for the enablement of downstream clinical intelligence. Being able to successfully deliver on product requirements in a timely manner is necessary to the company’s success.
- Prototype algorithms:
- - Research novel methods for vital sign signal extraction using high frequency sensor data
- - Work with product team to define algorithm requirements and test metrics
- - Iterate rapidly to develop algorithm prototypes and communicate performance tradeoffs
- Productize algorithms:
- - Port algorithms to C and optimize computations to meet processor and power constraints
- - Develop test protocols for data collection team, and perform QA to ensure the product meets the requirements
- Contribute to team infrastructure:
- - Ideate new tools to automate algorithm benchmarking and testing to improve team efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
1+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or a related discipline, including internships or academic projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Take initiative on continued automation improvements and proactively identify opportunities to reduce toil
Hands-on experience with Python and/or .NET/C#; comfort with scripting and automation in a CI/CD context.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices and tooling such as, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jira
Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation across multiple project types
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly ECS, Lambda, and EventBridge
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and observability platforms like Datadog
Familiarity with healthcare technology context such as HIPAA requirements and compliance
