Duties:
Lead technical architecture and design of enterprise IFRS17 software solutions
§ Serve as Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert on the SAS IFRS17 regulations programming solutions and its capabilities.
§ Architect scalable software frameworks and design patterns for IFRS17 compliance systems.
§ Conduct technical design reviews and establish coding standards across development teams.
§ Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system architecture, quality assurance, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
§ Lead teams responsible for deploying and customizing the SAS IFRS17 solution.
§ Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to development teams on emerging technologies and industry standards.
§ Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements gathering and solution validation.
§ Mentor junior staff on technologies and best practices as required.
Implement credit risk regulatory compliance solutions including IFRS9, CECL, and CCAR frameworks
§ Design and develop credit loss provisioning models and expected credit loss calculation engines.
§ Architect stress testing and capital adequacy assessment platforms for regulatory reporting.
§ Integrate credit risk analytics with existing enterprise risk management infrastructure.
Execute enterprise system deployments and cloud infrastructure management
§ Architect and implement enterprise-wide deployment and configuration of SAS risk solution platform across hybrid cloud environments.
§ Configure enterprise-grade infrastructure including containerization and orchestration platforms.
§ Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks for production releases.
Drive client engagement and technical solution demonstrations
§ Present technical capabilities and architectural advantages to prospective enterprise clients.
§ Lead proof-of-concept development and technical evaluation processes during sales cycles.

- Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Finance plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Implementation Lead, Technical Consultant or related position.
- Application of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Risk regulations within the financial industry.
- SAS, Python, or R.
- Working with large-scale financial data sets and relational databases.
- Developing IFRS 17 fulfillment cash flow projection models, including methodologies and model adaptation to evolving regulatory requirements and implementation guidance.
- Implementing IFRS17 compliance solutions in enterprise environments.
- Leading architecture reviews and enforcing coding standards across development teams to ensure consistency, maintainability and performance optimization in production-grade systems.
- Installing and deploying SAS IFRS17 and the quick start modules.
- Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Managing a team.
- Must hold SAS Base Programmer and SAS Advanced Programmer Certifications.
