ENTRUST Solutions Group is a leader in engineering services for gas and electric utilities, seeking a Design Engineer I to kickstart their career. This role involves working on critical utility projects, ensuring designs meet project specifications, and collaborating with other team members to complete design packages.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, upgrade, and maintenance of critical utility systems
• Leverage technical expertise to ensure design meets project specifications
• Communicate challenges related to scope, schedule, and quality
• Collaborate with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages
• Engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools

Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional fieldwork and site visits
• Civil, or mechanical engineering major
• Located near a Cincinnati, OH, Raleigh, or Charlotte, NC ENTRUST office and willing to work a combination of from home and in the office, as needed
• EIT certification
