Database Management Analyst
Posted 2026-05-06iQuasar is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Management Analyst III to join our team. As the Database Management Analyst III (IDE Manager / CAM) is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing database management operations, software development environments, and integrated development processes supporting mission-critical systems. The position requires extensive experience in engineering or information technology and the ability to lead technical teams involved in software development and computer-based training systems.
The ideal candidate will manage development environments, coordinate configuration and asset management activities, and ensure database and software lifecycle processes align with organizational security and operational standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise database systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security
- Oversee Integrated Development Environment (IDE) operations and Configuration and Asset Management (CAM) processes.
- Lead and coordinate technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems.
- Support development and maintenance of Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement database solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies.
- Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Support integration of database systems with enterprise applications and training platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- The Government will accept a minimum of 18 years of professional experience related to the labor category in lieu of a degree.
- More than 15 years of professional experience in engineering or IT.
- Demonstrated experience managing database systems and development environments.
- Experience leading technical teams in software development and computer-based training systems.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- More than 20 years of professional experience in engineering or IT.
- Experience with Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software development.
- Strong background in secure software development lifecycle processes.
- Experience working in government or defense-related environments
