Position Overview

arenaflex is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator II – Google Site Maintenance to join our growing team. This is a remote position that offers the unique opportunity to support critical government operations while maintaining flexibility in your work environment. The position requires periodic travel to various locations for training, meetings, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders.

This pivotal role involves maintaining and refreshing Google sites for a major federal client, ensuring 508 compliance, and coordinating content updates across multiple divisions. You'll serve as a crucial link between subject matter experts and leadership, managing the complete lifecycle of digital content refresh projects from initial assessment to final approval.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator II at arenaflex, you will be responsible for applying experienced judgment to select procedures, interpret requirements, and accurately code and enter information from various document sources. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the digital presence of our federal client's critical operational sites.


  • Google Site Administration: Perform annual comprehensive reviews of Google sites for Acquisition and CORE Policy Handbook sites to ensure 508 compliance, correct functionality of all links, consistent formatting, high-quality writing, and refreshed content that meets current federal standards.

  • Content Management: Survey needs from subject matter experts within the organization to inform content refresh strategies and ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all published materials.

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the entire content refresh project from start to finish, including liaison activities with all division contacts and obtaining final approval from leadership.

  • Quality Assurance: Apply experienced judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources with precision and attention to detail.

  • Technical Editing: Conduct technical editing of web content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to federal writing standards and style guidelines.

  • Web Design Support: Utilize expertise in Google Sites and web design principles to enhance site functionality, user experience, and visual appeal.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all digital content meets Section 508 accessibility requirements, making information accessible to people with disabilities.

  • Training Support: May assist in developing training materials and supporting training sessions for staff on content management and site maintenance procedures.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with FMC (Financial Management Center) points of contact across multiple functional areas to improve communication, coordination, and program oversight.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:


  • Experience: Approximately 4 or more years of related federal experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in administrative, technical, or content management roles.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in Google Sites, technical editing, and web design with the ability to create and maintain professional digital content.

  • Education: Associate's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of an organization.

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly advantageous:


  • Experience working with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) or other federal agencies in administrative or content management roles.

  • Prior experience with Section 508 compliance requirements for federal websites.

  • Knowledge of federal writing standards and style guides.

  • Experience in the Department of Commerce or similar federal administrative environments.

  • Background in acquisition or program management support.

  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and documentation.
