Position Overview
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data within our business systems. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. You will work closely with our Professional Services department, supporting various tasks that keep our workflow running smoothly.
This is a full-time remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while staying connected with your team through digital communication tools.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary duties will include:
- Accurately entering system orders into the arenaflex business system with precision and attention to detail.
- Receiving purchase orders (POs) and ensuring all relevant information is properly documented.
- Entering orders into the system and verifying all data for accuracy before submission.
- Printing sales order acknowledgments and distributing them as needed.
- Creating Project Workspaces using our project management system (Jira) and establishing Functional Locations for each project.
- Attaching purchase orders and quote documentation to the appropriate records within the business system.
- Ensuring custom Bills of Materials are entered accurately and completely into the system.
- Performing high-volume data entry of customer orders while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Providing backup support for arenaflex data entry operations as needed.
- Assisting Project Assistants with various tasks to ensure seamless project execution.
- Completing other duties as assigned by your supervisor or team lead.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of previous administrative or clerical experience is ideal, though we welcome candidates willing to learn.
- Technical Skills: Strong keyboarding skills, including both alpha and numeric input.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
