What You'll Do

As a Data Analyst supporting Disney+ Product, Marketing & Content Curation, you'll be at the forefront of streaming industry innovation. Your primary focus will be on Disney+ Product and Consumer Experience monitoring programs, working closely with product teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Research & Analysis: Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, training, extraction, and evaluation from multiple sources to build comprehensive summaries, tables, and reports

  • Data Integration: Combine disparate data sets using SQL to support the daily operations of the Disney+ consumer experience monitoring program

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to conduct research, including communicating project goals, business needs, and timelines to prioritize, innovate, and optimize our datasets

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team and from other divisions, as well as external vendors

  • Reporting & Analysis: Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various agencies in product marketing, engagement, and product strategy for Disney+ and the Disney Streaming Bundle

  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report obligations and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timeframes

  • Strategic Insights: Work with the Sr. Manager and team to ensure every outcome is strategically actionable and drives key decision-making

  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and analytics agencies within Snowflake & Databricks environments

  • Data Governance: Maintain updated verbal and written understanding of data points and requirements

  • Client Support: Respond to critical data requests from internal clients

  • Presentation: Support presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions

  • Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of SVOD & In-Home business trends amidst a constantly evolving landscape

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related discipline with 3 years of relevant work experience OR Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related discipline with 1 year of relevant work experience

  • Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources

  • Strong ability to extract data and integrate with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business

  • Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work rapidly and accurately in a fast-moving environment

  • Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations

  • Strong multitasking abilities and capability to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and constant change

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)

  • Experience with survey tools (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)

  • Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar

  • Familiarity with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or comparable programming languages

  • Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics

  • Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side

  • Experience analyzing survey data to extract actionable insights

  • Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy

Compensation & Benefits

At arenaflex, we believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication. The hiring range for this position is $35 to $45 per hour, based on factors including internal equity, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
