Stirista is seeking a Data Analyst I to drive operational efficiency by leveraging datasets to support cross-functional teams and clients. The role involves managing data requests, maintaining databases, and providing insightful analysis to inform business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end fulfillment of daily data requests while identifying opportunities to enhance and expand core data product offerings
- Update and maintain relational databases; manage seamless data distribution across multiple platforms and environments
- Proactively identify market trends and "current event" triggers to provide context-rich analysis that supports business development
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex data findings into understandable, high-impact presentations
- Design and implement best practices, standardized workflows, and compliance procedures to scale the data team’s efficiency
Skills
- Proficient in MS-SQL and Google BigQuery is required
- Basic understanding of relational databases, data joining/linking, and File Transfer Protocols (FTP/sFTP)
- Ability to build basic dashboards in Looker or Tableau to tell a story with data
- Ability to navigate a high-paced environment, managing shifting priorities without compromising attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written skills, with a focus on making technical data accessible to non-technical audiences
- A proactive communicator who takes personal responsibility for data accuracy and project timelines while maintaining a 'service-first' mindset when supporting internal teams and external clients
- Ability to adhere to the company's hybrid work policy. This position requires a minimum of three days per week in one of our offices for employees residing within a 30-mile radius of the following locations: San Antonio, TX (HQ), or Pompano Beach, FL
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field (Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, etc.) preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on SQL/BigQuery
