This is a remote position.
Our client in the consulting space has an amazing remote opportunity available, this isn't a greenfield project or another support ticket queue.

This is a real, live ERP implementation with Procure-to-Pay at its core — gaps to close, integrations to fix, and a platform ready to be extended by someone who knows their X++.

THE CHALLENGE

· The ERP with Procure-to-Pay functionality is live but the implementation has gaps, broken integrations, and modules that are not behaving correctly.

· Several integrations need to be built or fixed. Third-party platforms need to connect into D365 cleanly and reliably.

· Once the foundation is stable, the role moves into extending the system. There is plenty to build.

THE WORK THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS

· X++ development is the core of the role. Debugging a broken posting process and extending standard D365 behaviour without rewriting it from scratch is the beef.

· Integration with OData entities, Business Events, and connecting third-party platforms to D365.

· ALM and deployment are part of the job. You need to know how code moves from development through UAT to production in a D365 environment.

· Reporting work will come up, Buzzwords like SSRS, Electronic Reporting, and Power BI via Entity Store are relevant.

Requirements

· 6+ years hands-on D365 F&O technical experience with experience with Procure-to-pay related modules, real X++ and AOT work.

· Proven ability to inherit a live D365 codebase, understand what is there, and extend it without breaking things.

· Enough understanding of Finance and Procurement processes to work alongside a functional consultant without needing a business process walkthrough every time something needs to be built.

· Familiarity with Azure DevOps, LCS, and standard D365 ALM practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE)

· Clear written and spoken English.

· X++ development, AOT, Version Control (git)

· Integration experience: OData, Business Events, Azure Logic Apps or Functions.

· Ability to debug a broken D365 process end to end and explain what went wrong.

· ALM experience: Azure DevOps, Git, LCS, environment management.

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

This is more than a contract — it's a chance to work on meaningful, visible impact in a live enterprise system. You'll collaborate with sharp people, solve interesting technical puzzles, and enjoy the freedom of remote work aligned to Dubai time.

· Interesting problems to solve.

· Fully remote.

· Open to contractors and freelancers.

· Competitive pay.

· Nice people to work with.
