Customer Service Representative - Order Entry

The Minka Group is a leader in the decorative lighting and fan industries, known for its quality and workmanship. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative – Order Entry to focus on accurate order entry and provide email/ticket-based customer support while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Order Entry
  • Enter customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Validate pricing, product selection, shipping details, and required dates
  • Identify and correct order discrepancies prior to processing
  • Customer Support (Email & Zendesk)
  • Respond to Zendesk tickets within 4 business hours
  • Provide clear, professional written communication regarding order status, availability, and corrections
  • Maintain ownership of assigned tickets through resolution
  • Customer Interaction
  • Make or receive occasional customer phone calls when necessary to clarify order details or resolve issues
  • Follow Minka policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, accountability, and professionalism
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Order Entry, and Sales Administration teams
  • Support inbound sales opportunities when appropriate

Skills

  • Entry-level role; prior Customer Service or Order Entry experience preferred
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet service level expectations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams)
  • Zendesk experience preferred but not required
