What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Review Team and ensuring exceptional service to both beneficiaries and providers. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Correspondence Management: Handle typing, merging, proofing for clarity, printing, and mailing of official correspondence with precision and attention to detail.

  • Helpline Support: Answer beneficiary inquiries through the helpline system, determining the best way to assist each caller – whether through arenaflex services or by referring them to appropriate external agencies.

  • Referral Processing: Properly enter all referrals into the CMS system and document interactions thoroughly and accurately.

  • Letter Production: Ensure all outgoing letters are sent in a timely manner, contain correct components, and are reviewed for grammatical accuracy, spacing, and formatting errors.

  • Records Management: Obtain and validate notices and all components of medical records as required for case processing.

  • Appeals Intake: Provide comprehensive intake services for all appeals received by arenaflex, ensuring proper documentation and processing.

  • Quality Communication: Communicate verbally and in writing with external customers to furnish and request review information, maintaining professional and courteous interactions at all times.

  • Relationship Building: Foster effective working relationships between arenaflex's internal and external customers, serving as a trusted point of contact.

  • Process Improvement: Assist and participate in team efforts to identify areas for potential improvement based on case reviews and process observations.

  • Quality Assurance: Utilize internal quality control tools to assess individual work performance and team processes, continuously striving for excellence.

What You'll Need: Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Two to three years of clerical experience including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a courteous and patient demeanor.

  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations.

  • Proficient grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communication skills.
