Cuyana is seeking a full-time Customer Experience Associate to join their CEx team in a hybrid capacity, working both remotely and at their Distribution Center in West Oakland. The role involves providing exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Quickly and thoroughly respond and solve customer inquiries via email, phone
- Respond to and communicate with customers in a friendly, positive, professional, and efficient manner
- Process orders, returns and exchanges - for both online and retail channels
- Handle all customer requests and special cases at the distribution center
- Assist with fulfillment functions - packaging, personalization, receiving, QA, transfers, and returns
- Assist with retail operations for all retail locations - including helping customers, completing retail transactions, receiving replenishment shipments
- Cuyana Community - help teammates during peak season, support retail and community events
Skills
- 1-3+ years of customer service experience
- Passionate about helping customers
- Connection to Cuyana's Fewer, Better philosophy
- Team player, able to collaborate & work well with others
- Positive attitude, self-starter, proactive, and resourceful
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, very organized with attention to detail
- Strong e-commerce system capabilities
- Thrives in fast paced startup environment; able to adapt quickly
- Flexible availability - early/late hours, weekdays/weekends on-site and remotely with a strong internet connection required
- ZenDesk, NetSuite, Shopify experience is a plus
