Anaqua is a premium provider of integrated intellectual property management technology solutions and services. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with corporate governance and M&A activities.


Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements, master services agreements, sales licensing agreements, amendments, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements
  • Ensure compliance with security, export control, sanctions and privacy regulations
  • Assist with employee-related/HR matters
  • Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts
  • Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries
  • Draft and maintain internal security, export control, sanctions, ESG and privacy policies
  • Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations
  • Assist with real estate transactions

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Current license to practice law in Massachusetts
  • 1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting
  • Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus
