Senior Financial Analyst
Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst supports multisite financial operations by driving accuracy in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role partners closely with plant and corporate leadership to deliver data-driven insights, strengthen financial controls, and improve operational efficiency across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and validate standard costs across products and sites to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial goals with operational performance.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly invoices, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Participate in month-end close activities, completing journal entries and reconciliations within deadlines.
- Develop and maintain KPI reports to analyze cost drivers, production efficiency, and financial trends.
- Conduct cost analysis projects to identify savings opportunities and enhance financial controls.
- Review labor and departmental expenses, monitoring alignment with budgets and efficiency targets.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance financial systems, controls, and automation.
- Collaborate with multisite accounting teams to ensure consistency in QAD reporting and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a multisite environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and data management tools.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
