Sax Advisory Group, LLC is a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary accounting, tax, and advisory firm. They are seeking a full-time Client Relationship Associate to support the operations of Sax Wealth Advisors by providing exceptional client service and operational support, ensuring a seamless client experience from onboarding through ongoing advisory support.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and help deliver personalized, holistic financial plans
  • Prepare meeting materials and follow up on planning action items
  • Assist with investment recommendations, including rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting
  • Communicate with clients regarding service needs, plan updates, and market-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate client records and diligent CRM updates
  • Support client onboarding: open accounts, process forms, track documentation
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings and follow-ups
  • Process client transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with accuracy and compliance
  • Handle RMD tracking, performance reporting, and quarterly review preparation
  • Communicate with custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) to resolve client issues
  • Collaborate across advisory, admin, and trading teams
  • Develop an area of expertise (e.g., planning software, RMDs, process improvement)
  • Support strategic firm initiatives and business development efforts
  • Participate in regular team meetings and assist with ad-hoc projects

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance, financial planning, or accounting)
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services or client services within wealth management
  • Series 65 required (or willingness to obtain)
  • CFP designation or exam ready (or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with financial planning and investment concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRMs and portfolio management tools a plus
  • Knowledge of major custodians (Schwab, Fidelity) and account processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to prioritize competing tasks
