Client Intake Specialist (Remote – Evenings) | Legal Calls | MUST Have Phone + CRM Experience - Contract to Hire

We are a fast-growing law firm looking for a highly reliable, detail-driven Client Intake Specialist to answer inbound calls from prospective clients.
This is not a basic customer service role. Our callers are often dealing with urgent and emotional legal matters (probate, estate planning, elder law). We need someone who can follow a proven intake system, build trust quickly, and capture information with precision and zero sloppiness.
If you are the type of person who “mostly gets things right,” this is not the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
Answer inbound calls from Google Ads and office lines
Guide callers through a structured intake process
Accurately enter all information into our CRM (no missed fields)
Identify legal needs and route/schedule correctly
Represent the firm with professionalism, empathy, and control of the conversation
Schedule:
Weekdays: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM CST (required)
Weekends: ~2 flexible hours
On-call availability to cover 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST shifts (as needed)
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Proven phone-based role (intake, call center, or client support)
Experience using a CRM daily (must be comfortable, not “willing to learn”)
Strong attention to detail — you catch mistakes others miss
Ability to follow scripts and systems exactly
Clear, confident, and professional speaking voice
Quiet, distraction-free work environment
Reliable internet and availability during listed hours
Preferred (Strong Advantage):
Legal intake experience (probate, estate planning, elder law)
Experience handling Google Ads inbound leads
Familiarity with tools like Clio Grow, HubSpot, or Salesforce
Training & Expectations:
We provide clear scripts, systems, and training. Your job is to execute consistently and accurately.
We measure success by:
Call handling quality
Accuracy of information entered
Ability to convert callers into scheduled consultations
