<div class="benefits"> <div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> </ul> </div> <div class="trix-content"> <div> <strong>Position Overview<br></strong><br> </div><div>We require a developer to serve as a <strong>Cerner Millennium CCL and Data Transformation Lead</strong> supporting large-scale <strong>Electronic Health Record (EHR) migration and modernization initiatives</strong>.<br><br> </div><div><strong>General Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul> <li>Understand business objectives and operational problems.</li> <li>Identify alternative solutions and perform studies and cost/benefit analyses.</li> <li>Analyze user requirements, procedures, and workflows to improve or automate systems.</li> <li>Confer with organizational units to analyze current operations and identify issues.</li> <li>Document detailed user needs, functional requirements, and program specifications.</li> <li>Evaluate system capabilities, limitations, and the feasibility of requested changes.</li> </ul><div><strong>Key Responsibilities / Description of Services:</strong></div><div>Perform services including, but not limited to, the following:</div><ol> <li>Assess, analyze, and document <strong>clinical workflows</strong> across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary care settings.</li> <li>Translate <strong>clinical and operational requirements</strong> into technical specifications for data extraction, reporting, and analytics.</li> <li>Design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain <strong>Cerner Command Language (CCL)</strong> scripts within Cerner Millennium environments.</li> <li>Perform complex <strong>data extraction, validation, and reconciliation</strong> from Cerner Millennium Oracle schemas.</li> <li>Support <strong>enterprise-wide EHR data migration</strong>, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives.</li> <li>Develop and support <strong>structured data feeds, flat-file extracts, and ETL processes</strong>.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve <strong>CCL performance issues</strong> and downstream data integration/reporting challenges.</li> <li>Serve as a liaison between <strong>clinical informatics stakeholders</strong> and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of clinical intent.</li> <li>Communicate data limitations, technical constraints, and system dependencies to <strong>non-technical stakeholders</strong>.</li> <li>Execute and tune CCL scripts, manage batch jobs, and support <strong>production and non-production environments</strong> in accordance with HHSC standards.</li> </ol><div><strong>Minimum Required Skills & Experience:</strong></div><ul><li>12+ years</li></ul><div>Preferred Qualifications</div><ul> <li>Prior experience supporting <strong>Cerner Millennium production environments</strong> </li> <li>Experience serving as a <strong>Senior Cerner Consultant or Technical Lead</strong> </li> </ul> </div> <p>This is a remote position.</p>
