CDI Specialist - Make $1800-$2200/Week

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a CDI Specialist. This fully remote position involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform concurrent inpatient CDI reviews with a focus on accurate DRG assignment, CC/MCC capture, and SOI/ROM optimization
• Issue compliant physician queries to resolve conflicting, missing, or unclear documentation and escalate as needed
• Reconcile working DRGs against final coded DRGs in collaboration with HIM coders
• Support clinical validation and documentation accuracy initiatives
• Analyze documentation trends and contribute to provider education efforts
• *Required Qualifications**
• Active RN (Compact or Texas) OR RHIA
• *One required certification:**
• CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CCS, or CPC
