CADD Technician 1

Sanbell is a multi-disciplinary engineering, community planning, and design firm serving clients throughout the Western United States. They are seeking a CADD Technician 1 to join their land development team, where the individual will prepare detailed drawings and civil/site design documents for various residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Project Managers and Engineers to prepare detailed drawings in compliance with company and/or jurisdictional standards. Drawings will include grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water and other site development elements
• Prepare all facets of civil/site design documents
• Prepare site planning, grading plans, and utility layouts in Civil 3D
• Proficiency in working with multiple design manuals and standards for local jurisdictions
• Complete utility, roadway, and basic storm facility designs with general layout provided
• Write statements of qualifications or prepare project proposals, define a scope of work, develop a project budget, and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 1+ Years CADD Technician experience (or demonstrated equivalent through academic/course work)
• Basic understanding of civil engineering fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Detail oriented and self-driven
• Ability to work and collaborate well in a team environment
• A.S. or B.S. in AutoCAD Design, Civil Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong knowledge and/or basic experience of Civil 3D
• AutoCAD Certificate
