Flinks is an embedded finance platform that provides businesses with the infrastructure needed for seamless financial experiences. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to engage prospects, build a pipeline, and support the sales team by making outbound calls and conducting research on potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate the value of Flinks' platform by showcasing its new and existing capabilities, addressing customer needs, and sparking interest in a confident, consultative manner
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline using a strategic, multi-channel approach, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and events
- Make a high volume of outbound phone calls daily to engage prospective clients generated through automated campaigns, signals, research, and inbound interest
- Conduct focused research on companies and contacts to prepare for meaningful conversations
- Collaborate closely with AEs to drive the right meetings and accelerate pipeline growth
- Respond quickly and professionally to email replies and engagement signals from prospects
- Consistently meet and exceed daily activity metrics such as calls, emails, etc
- Stay organized by consistently updating and maintaining CRM records in HubSpot, adhering to established processes and best practices
- Partner closely with Marketing and Sales Specialists to align strategies, share insights, and deepen product knowledge for more effective prospecting
- This is an execution-focused role. Success is driven by activity, resilience, curiosity, and professionalism
Skills
- 6-12+ months of experience in a B2B SDR or similar pipeline-generating role
- A strong work ethic and competitive drive
- Comfortable making a high volume of daily calls
- Resilience - you don't take rejection personally and can quickly reset after a hang-up
- A positive, professional attitude under pressure
- Curiosity - you ask smart questions and genuinely want to understand how businesses operate

- Experience in the fintech industry
- Knowledge of financial services, open banking, and fintech companies in Canada and the United States
