  • Engagement Management: Lead and execute full-service audits for complex governmental and nonprofit entities, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of technical excellence and professionalism.
  • Advanced Auditing: Utilize cutting-edge auditing concepts and techniques to identify potential weaknesses in internal control systems and accounting frameworks.
  • Technical Quality Control: Review audit programs and detailed transaction tests to ensure compliance with professional auditing standards and firm policies.
  • Client Advisory: Partner directly with nonprofit and government leaders to deliver timely, accurate, and innovative insights that help them achieve their organizational goals.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Leverage our resources as a founding member of CPAsNet-a national consortium-to bring industry-leading insights to our local and regional clients.
  • Mentorship: Supervise and guide junior staff on-site, fostering a culture of enthusiasm, integrity, and continuous professional growth.
    What You Bring to the Team
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on governmental (GASB) or nonprofit auditing.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Licensure: CPA license or active pursuit of the CPA credential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Single Audits (Uniform Guidance), employee benefit plan audits, or school district accounting is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to assume a leadership role within the firm and the broader professional community.
  • Integrity: A commitment to maintaining strict quality control and upholding the reputation we've built over four decades.
